President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has led the nation in mourning a police commander who was killed in a Mogadishu explosion.
The Somali President led his fellow countrymen and women in mourning the death of Brigadier General Farhan Mohamoud Aden Qarole.
Brig. Gen. Qarole died in an explosion that took place near Bal’ad town earlier on Friday.
He was part of a team leading a security operation against terrorists and criminals in the town when an explosion terminated his life.
Al-Shabaab has already claimed responsibility for the deadly attack.
President Mohamud hailed Brig. Gen. Qarole and the other soldiers who sacrificed their time and lives working hard to eradicate all terrorists from the country.
