Somali President met with the United States Secretary of Defense in Djibouti.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s meeting with Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III took place on Sunday.
The Secretary of Defense arrived in Djibouti a few moments ago.
His meeting with the Somali President comes at a really interesting time.
It comes hot on the heels of the ongoing mobilisations and operations by Somalia against Al-Shabaab terrorist group.
President Mohamud has spent over two months in Dhusamareb supervising military offensives against Al-Shabaab in central Somalia.
