President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia says that close to 100 people have lost their lives in the bombings that took place at K-5 Junction on Saturday.
The President spoke when he went to the scene of the deadly terror attack that left death, shock, injuries, and screams of pain in its wake.
According to President Mohamud, over 300 people were injured in the deadly attack.
Consequently, he has appealed to the cabinet to ensure that the injured receive emergency medical attention fast.
He urged members of the public to visit the hospitals to donate blood to those injured.
The President said that he would take over the educational needs of those whose parents or relatives were killed in Saturday’s attack in Mogadishu.
President Mohamud termed the terrorist attack “cruel and cowardly.”
