President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud held discussions with President-Elect Dr. William Ruto of Kenya on phone.
The discussions between the Somali leader and President-Elect Ruto took place on August 16, a day after the Kenyan leader was declared the winner of the presidential elections.
First, President Mohamud congratulated Dr. Ruto.
Next, the Somali President reassured Dr. Ruto of his readiness to work with the new Kenyan leader to expand bilateral cooperation between their respective nations.
