President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud will visit two Federal Member States (FMS) for a personal evaluation of the ongoing war against Al-Shabaab.
A communiqué from Villa Somalia indicates that the Somali President travels to Galmudug and HirShabelle this weekend.
He is scheduled to arrive in the two regions on Saturday, November 19.
During his visit, President Mohamud is expected to spend time meeting Somali National Army (SNA) soldiers to encourage them on the ongoing operations against Al-Shabaab.
He will hold meetings and discussions with locals who have joined SNA to battle the terrorists too.
