President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has traveled to Algeria for the 31st Arab Summit.
The Summit kicks off on Tuesday, November 1.
The plane carrying President Mohamud departed the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu on Monday evening.
First, the Somali leader transited to Khartoum, the capital of Sudan.
While in Khartoum, he held discussions with senior officials of the Sudanese government under the leadership of the Minister of Defense.
