The Somali President has traveled to Nairobi to attend the sixth edition of the United Nations Environmental Assembly (UNEA6).
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud traveled to the Kenyan capital on Wednesday, February 28.
He is scheduled to attend the UNEA6 forum that runs until March 1.
The President joins colleagues from other countries around the world.
President Mohamud is expected to address the assembly on the unique environmental challenges that Somalia experiences.
The climate-induced humanitarian situation the country faces will appear strongly in his address too.
