President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia has urged his cabinet to prioritize the ongoing counterterrorism operations in the country.
The Somali President issued this call when presiding over the Council of Cabinet meeting at Villa Somalia on Thursday.
He chaired this week’s cabinet meeting together with Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre.
President Mohamud encouraged all the members of the cabinet to work jointly and as a team to support the government’s efforts against terrorism.
Further, he encouraged the cabinet to focus on delivering humanitarian assistance to the liberated areas.
