President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud visited the regional state of HirShabelle to speed up ongoing operations against Al-Shabaab militants.
The President visited the region in the company of ministers such as Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, who is in charge of the defense docket.
Senior Somali National Army (SNA) commanders also accompanied the President in his tour of Wargaadhi, HirShabelle.
The President and his team are in the region to speed up military operations to eradicate the militants completely from the area.
