The Prime Minister of Somalia says that he is honored to form the country’s new Council of Cabinet.
Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre formed the new cabinet on August 2.
Afterward, the Prime Minister issued a statement expressing his delight and honor to announce the list of Council of Ministers.
He stated that the ministers would help the government to actualize the change and development that Somalia needs.
Barre also promised Somalis that the new government would work on matters of national importance and interest.
He named a cabinet of 77 members.
They include 25 cabinet ministers, 26 deputies, and 26 state ministers.
The Prime Minister was to name his cabinet last week. However, he asked the federal parliament to extend the deadline by another 10 days to allow him to name it this week.
