Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre visited the Emergency Operations Center in Mogadishu on Monday.
The purpose of the Prime Minister’s visit was to evaluate the ongoing emergency response operations at the center.
The Mogadishu-based center has been a beehive of activity in the last few days.
Saturday’s terror attack in K-5 Junction in Mogadishu forced the personnel at the center to work overtime.
During Monday’s visit to the center, Prime Minister commended the staff for doing an incredible job.
Specifically, he hailed the center’s staff and volunteers for standing up to help people affected by the recent terror attacks in the nation’s capital.
