Somalia’s regional fisheries ministries have cut links with the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS).
The Federal Member States (FMS) ministries released a joint statement dated January 10 accusing the federal government of “lack of cooperation.”
Furthermore, they added that the federal government had been unable to produce the desired results for the regional states.
Specifically, they stated that FGS circumvented issues that both sides had previously agreed upon after exhaustive discussions and negotiations.
