A Somali senator has died.
Senator Abdi Osman Hared died in the United States on Saturday.
He represented the regional state of Galmudug in the Upper House.
Galmudug President Ahmed Abdi Karie Qoorqoor confirmed Senator Hared’s death.
He conveyed condolences to the friends and family of the deceased.
