A Somali soldier finished on top of his class that graduated from the Zaeem Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air Academy in Qatar.
Saed Ali Abdullahi was recognized for being the best of all the 116 airforce officers from different countries who graduated from the Qatari academy.
The school held its graduation ceremony on Tuesday, January 23 in a function attended by Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
Twelve students were the best of the lot. Abdullahi, the Somali officer, was ranked the first among the 12.
