Somalia’s Minister of Health, Dr. Ali Hajiadam, used the sidelines of the 8th Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Health Ministers’ Conference in Jordan to deepen international partnerships in the health sector.
Dr. Hajiadam held bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Malaysia and Brunei, focusing on expanding cooperation in healthcare delivery, workforce development, and disease prevention.
The discussions centered on knowledge exchange, technical support, and collaborative programmes aimed at strengthening Somalia’s health system.
The engagements underline Somalia’s efforts to forge stronger ties with fellow OIC member states as it seeks to enhance access to quality healthcare and improve public health outcomes across the country.
