Leila Ali Elmi has won the recently conducted elections in Sweden to represent her constituents in parliament once again.
Elmi first won the parliamentary elections in 2018.
Back then, she made history by becoming the first Somali-Swedish woman to be elected to the Swedish parliament, which is known as Riksdag.
Abdirizak Waberi was the first Somali-Swede person to win a parliamentary seat in Sweden.
He was a member of the Riksdag from 2010 to 2014.
