The youths of Somalia have been urged to stop embarking on risky migration journeys.
Mariam Yassin, the Special Presidential Envoy for Migration, Returnees, and Children’s Rights, told Somali youths to keep off such journeys.
She was speaking at an event held to celebrate International Migrants Day on December 19.
Yassin’s message is for Somali youths who embark on risky journeys to Europe through dangerous and unsafe boats on the open seas in search of greener pastures.
