Somalia and Egypt have agreed to boost cooperation on health matters.
Dr. Mohamed Elmi and Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar agreed on this when they met in Cairo on Saturday.
Dr. Elmi and Dr. Ghaffar are the Minister of Labour and Minister of Health in Somalia and Egypt respectively.
They met on the sidelines of the World Conference on Population, Health, and Development.
Both nations are to embrace increased cooperation in family planning and reproductive health.
They will work closely to develop population strategy that benefits Somalia and Egypt too.
