Somalia and Ethiopia have both agreed to enhance their multilateral partnership.
The two neighboring nations in East Africa agreed to this when Demeka Mekonnen and Salah Ahmed Jama met in Niger.
Mekonnen is the Ethiopian Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Jama is the Somali Deputy Prime Minister.
The two leaders met in Niger on the sidelines of the ongoing African Union (AU) Extra-Ordinary Summit in Niamey on Thursday.
They agreed to lead their respective nations in forging deeper bilateral as well as multilateral partnerships.
