Somalia and Kenya are contemplating cooperation in the transport and civil aviation sectors.
This emerged on Saturday when Somalia’s Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation hosted Thomas Chepkuto in her office.
Fardowsa Osman Egal, the transport and civil aviation minister, met with Chepkuto, who is the Kenyan Ambassador to Somalia.
Egal mentioned that they discussed several issues during their meeting.
One issue that received much of their focus was the ratification of the respective transport and civil aviation agreements.
Further, they also discussed the resumption of Kenya Airways flights to Somalia.
