Somalia and Morocco plan to improve the cordial diplomatic relations that exist between them.
This follows a meeting between Mahmoud Abdi Hassan and Nasser Bourita.
Hassan is Somalia’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. Bourita is Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The two met on Thursday, March 31.
They held their talks on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony in Dakhla for the International Research Center for the Prevention of Child Soldiers.
Hassan and Bourita hailed the long-standing “brotherly relations” that Somalia and Morocco have enjoyed.
During their meeting, the ministers vowed to work hard to improve relations in different areas.
Specifically, they promised that Somalia and Morocco would cooperate more to improve regional stability.
