Somalia and Qatar celebrate 50 years of solid and historic diplomatic relations this week.
The two nations have enjoyed solid diplomatic and bilateral ties over the last five decades.
They first established these ties in 1974.
Qatar is one of Somalia’s most loyal international allies.
It has also invested heavily in different sectors of the Somali economy.
Both nations are also full members of the Arab League.
