Somalia and Saudi Arabia are seeking to increase their cooperation in the mining sector.
This emerged on January 13 during a meeting between Engineer Abdirashid M. Ahmed, Somalia’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and Bandar bin Ibrahim, his Saudi Arabia counterpart.
Saudi Arabia has plenty of investments in Somalia.
Eng. Ahmed’s meeting with Ibrahim on Thursday focused on several issues mostly related to the mining sector.
