The Presidents of Somalia and the United Arab Emirates met in Abu Dhabi.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud held discussions with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
They discussed ongoing operations against terrorists in Somalia.
The East African nation has been carrying out aggressive military offensives against Al-Shabaab militants since President Mohamud’s ascension to power in May 2022.
Mohamud and Al Nahyan also discussed bilateral ties between their respective nations.
They met at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center during the International Defense Exhibition and Conference.
