Somalia, Eritrea, and Egypt have agreed to establish a trilateral joint committee composed of the Foreign Ministers from each country.
This committee will be tasked with overseeing and advancing strategic cooperation across all areas, as outlined in a communique issued by Somalia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This initiative marks an important step towards strengthening ties and collaboration between the three nations on various issues of mutual interest.
The three nations announced the formation of the committee after holding a trilateral meeting in Asmara, Eritrea this week.
The presidents of the three countries attended the Asmara meeting where they agreed on several issues including formation of the joint committee.
