Brigadier General Odawa Yusuf Rageh has traveled to Turkey on an official working visit.
The plane carrying Brig. Gen. Odawa, who is the Somali National Army (SNA) Chief, landed at Ankara on November 24.
General Yasar Guler, his Turkish counterpart, was on hand to receive and welcome the SNA Chief.
Immediately, Gen. Odawa traveled to the Turkish Military Command Center in Ankara.
Turkey has several investments in Somalia. It is one of the East African nation’s most important international allies.
Tons of Somali military officers have undergone training in Turkey.
