Somalia has called for increased international support in the fight against terrorism in the country.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud issued this call while addressing the Somalia Security Conference in New York.
Speaking at the conference organized by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), President Mohamud reminded the audience of Somalia’s strategy of mobilising support while sustaining the courageous fight against terrorism.
He briefed the audience on the progress of the ongoing reforms in the country’s security sector too.
In conclusion, President Mohamud urged Somalia’s partners to continue standing with the country.
