Somalia has taken its row with Ethiopia to the doorsteps of the United Nations and the African Union.
On Sunday, Somalia appealed to both organizations to take a principled stand on its neighbor.
This follows the diplomatic row between Somalia and Ethiopia after the latter signed a controversial deal with Somaliland.
Somalia has repeatedly accused Ethiopia of violating its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“We call upon the member states to take a principled position on the illegal MoU Ethiopia signed with Somaliland,” wrote Somalia to the UN and AU through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
