Somalia has confirmed 144 new cases of the COVID-19 pandemic in the last seven days.
On November 13, the Ministry of Health published the latest numbers.
In its latest update, the ministry confirmed that it had tested 5,717 samples in the last seven days.
Somaliland led with 74 cases. Puntland and Galmudug followed with 50 and 11 cases respectively.
Banadir and Jubaland each had 8 and 1 cases respectively too.
Consequently, the East African nation now has 22,837 COVID-19 cases.
As of today, the tally of deaths stands at 1,313 while recoveries are now 11,189 after 422 more people recovered from the disease.
Sadly, 19 more people died over the last one week.
