Somalia Economic Update 7 is officially up and running.
The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) launched the program together with a team from the World Bank on November 26.
Dr.Elmi M. Nur, the federal Minister of Finance, was the most senior government official during the launch.
The minister commended the country for the improvement, which takes place despite the ongoing challenges at the national and international levels.
During the launch, Dr. Nur restated the government’s commitment to successful reforms.
He added that President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s administration remains committed to building on the successful reform program as a solution for creating resilience.
According to Dr. Nur, the government would not stop creating opportunities for all Somalis.
