The Central Bank of Somaliland has been granted full membership into the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI).
AAOIFI granted the Somaliland Central Bank full membership on November 30.
The organization is a leader in setting standards for the global finance industry within the Islamic circle.
Dr. Ali Abdilahi Dahir, the Governor of Central Bank of Somaliland, signed the agreement on behalf of bank.
