The ongoing floods in Somalia have affected 36 districts around the country.
According to the latest report by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), residents of the 36 districts are in dire situations.
The OCHA report shows that the floods have displaced over 1.1 million people in Somalia thus far.
Further, the most affected group is the internally displaced persons (IDPs) after the floods destroyed their settlements too.
Consequently, authorities had to relocate over 130,000 IDPs to safer and higher grounds.
