The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) has commended Dr. Mohamed Jama for making sterling contributions to the health sector in the country.
On December 27, 2020, FGS posted a message appreciating the contributions Dr. Jama has made to improve the quality of healthcare.
Dr. Jama has worked closely with the Ministry of Health, as a reflection of its patriotism towards Somalia.
Furthermore, the ministry hailed the example he continues to set in professionalism to many personnel in the health sector.
Somalia’s health sector has been in the doldrums for decades since the 1990s when the country experienced a deadly civil war.
Since then, the government has been dysfunctional, a situation that has made it harder for citizens to access quality healthcare.
