The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) plans to introduce a new Electronic Logistics Management Information Systems (eLMIS) for the health sector.
Mohamed Hersi, the Director of PSM, announced this when addressing the District Health Information Software (DHIS2) annual conference in Oslo, Norway.
Hersi said that the new system would enable the Ministry of Health in Somalia to enhance the availability of data.
He mentioned that it would boost the quality and quantity of data too thus enabling the ministry and other stakeholders to strengthen the delivery of healthcare around the country.
