Somalia has expressed gratitude for its partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre of Somalia expressed his country’s gratitude when he met a delegation from the organization on Monday.
Dr. Natalia Kanem, the Executive Director of UNFPA, led the delegation in visiting Prime Minister Barre at his Mogadishu office.
The Prime Minister mentioned the longstanding partnership that Somalia has enjoyed with UNFPA over the years.
He also commended UNFPA for providing effective support to the women and girls of Somalia in different areas.
