Somalia launched the civil aviation oversight system on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre attended the event held to launch the system.
He commended the Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) for the exceptional work it has put in to connect Somalis with the rest of the world.
He added that the oversight system would enable the industry to offer safe and efficient services.
