Somalia has launched a program on state media to interview candidates for the upcoming presidential candidates.
The program is to be on state television and radio stations.
Dahir Mohamud Gelle, the leader of the opposition Danqaran Party, has become the first candidate to be interviewed.
Gelle’s interview with the state media will be broadcast to the nation on Saturday, May 7 at 8.00 pm local time.
The presidential elections are geared for May 15.
