Somalia media will be allowed to provide the public with live coverage of corruption proceedings in court.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud announced this on Friday.
He was speaking during the prayers held at Villa Somalia Mosque.
The President added that media houses are free to use their cameras in court.
He mentioned that such a move would provide the public with insight into the judicial process in the country.
