Somalia must invest in its youth through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
Ali Balcad, a Somali legislator, said this during a STEM meeting held on Monday, August 8.
Balcad, who is also the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, urged different stakeholders to ensure that Somalia does not neglect its youth.
Most specifically, the state minister mentioned that the youth of the country must receive STEM training and other forms of investment.
That way, the country would have youths who are ready for the future.
