Somalia has nominated a few eminent personalities to the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) as goodwill ambassadors.
Ugas Ali Ugas, one of the country’s most respected traditional leaders is on the list of those nominated as goodwill ambassadors.
Dr. Idil Osman is the other nominee.
Dr. Osman is an Assistant Professor at the University of Leicester.
The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) announced the nomination of these two eminent personalities on Wednesday.
