Somalia is ready to identify and implement durable solutions to the concerns raised by internally displaced persons (IDPs).
Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, the federal Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation, said this on Wednesday.
Fiqi said during the official opening ceremony of the National Displacement Social Cohesion Police.
“The government remains committed to finding durable solutions to the concerns raised by IDPs,” Fiqi stated.
He added that the government would protect the rights of all IDPs around the country as citizens of Somalia.
