Changsha, China – Somalia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdisalam Ali, participated in the Ministerial Meeting of Coordinators on the Implementation of Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) outcomes held in Changsha, Hunan Province.
Ali emphasized Somalia’s dedication to building strategic partnerships that deliver tangible benefits to its people. He highlighted priorities such as infrastructure development, productive industries, education, and digital connectivity — aligning with Somalia’s broader vision for sustainable development through international cooperation.
The meeting brought together African and Chinese officials to review progress and deepen collaboration under the FOCAC framework. The minister reiterated Somalia’s openness to meaningful partnerships that strengthen economic growth, resilience, and shared prosperity.
