The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) today received a significant relief shipment from the Turkish government at the Mogadishu port.
The shipment, totaling 3,000 tons, consists of food items, tents, and essential supplies aimed at supporting vulnerable communities in Somalia.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Salah Ahmed Jama and the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) Commissioner Mahamuud Moallim, alongside the Turkish Ambassador to Somalia and representatives from several Turkish humanitarian agencies.
This aid, which arrived via a Turkish vessel, is expected to provide substantial relief to those affected by ongoing challenges in the country.
