Somalia has received humanitarian assistance from Germany for the ongoing drought in the country.
The East African nation received £20 million from Germany through the United Nations.
Somalia is expected to share the funds equally with Ethiopia and Kenya.
Countries in the Horn of Africa region are experiencing the worst effects of the ongoing drought, but Somalia is the most affected nation.
According to the UN, 13 million people in the region are at risk of hunger.
The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) believes that more than 1.4 million in Somalia alone are at risk of being displaced from their homes.
The funds from Germany will help around 50,000 people in Somalia to buy animal feed for their livestock.
