Somalia is interested in pursuing improved cooperation with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the field of civil aviation.
Ahmed Moalim said this when he held talks with Ambassador Ahmed Juma Al Rumaithi on Thursday.
Moalim is the Director General in the Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA).
Al Rumaithi, the UAE Ambassador to Somalia, received Director General Moalim at the Embassy in Mogadishu.
Somalia’s civil aviation industry is still in its infancy after years of insecurity and wars in the country.
