Somalia has asked Australia to support its ongoing counterterrorism war.
Abshir Omar Jama Huruse delivered this request when he met with Alexander Schallenberg.
Huruse is Somalia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. Schallenberg is his Austrian counterpart.
Huruse met with Schallenberg in Vienna, where he currently is on an official visit.
Furthermore, they agreed that both nations need to cooperate to promote peace in the region.
