Somalia has reaffirmed its support for the ongoing peace efforts in Sudan.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud assured Abdel Fattah al-Burhan of this when they recently spoke on the phone.
Al-Burhan is the leader of the Sovereign Council of Sudan.
The two leaders spoke during the Eid Al-Adha celebrations that were held in all Muslim nations around the world.
President Mohamud reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to support peace efforts in the neighboring nation.
Further, he expressed hope that Sudan would soon be on the path of peace and prosperity.
