Somalia to Benefit from the $30 Billion Japan Pledged for African Development

Somalia will benefit from the $30 billion that Japan has pledged to support development in the African continent.

Japan pledged this amount during the 8th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD), which is going on in Tunis, Tunisia.

The conference runs from August 27-28.

Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre leads a delegation of Somali officials and representatives at the conference.
