Somalia will soon have reliable public health information.
This follows an agreement between a university in Mogadishu and Afya Consortium.
On October 2, Mogadishu’s SIMAD University announced its partnership with Afya Consortium to ensure that the country has reliable and accurate public health information.
The two organizations signed the partnership in response to the health crisis in the country.
Their representatives stated that the East African nation has suffered decades of conflicts and natural catastrophes that have hit its public health systems hard.
They will start by collaborating on public health support research.
