Somalia is scheduled to lift the ban imposed on international flights on August 3, 2020.
The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) imposed the ban on March 2020 as one of the measures for curbing the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
However, the ban ends on August 3 as the government eases some of the COVID-19 restrictions and opens up the country’s airspace.
Nevertheless, visitors arriving into the country would have to adhere to a few requirements.
Predominantly, they have to display a certificate showing that they are COVID-19 negative. Further, the certificate must have been issued not more than 72 hours before traveling.
